Ven VR

Indie version of Lucky's Tale with very cute main character and and a little childish enemies. Technically nice game for genre-lovers

Strong sides:

  • Amazing game characters, animations and interaction
  • Very different worlds between the chapters
  • Feeling of the living world and the creatures in it
  • Difficulty settings

Weak sides:

  • A little bit chunky (comparing to Moss and Lucky's Tale) enemy collision mechanics
  • Really bad camera sometimes (especially if you missed something and want to go back)
  • Checkpoint save system and need to save minimum creatures to pass through the game

Summary and conclusion:

Nice indie platformer able to challenge established pedestal classic games without surpassing them. Strongly recommended to the lovers of this genre and mainstream players, who are able to play such platformers.
