Masters of Light

A cosmic defense action game with innovative fitness-like hand tracking usage, light story line and vibrant sound track.

Strong sides:

  • Nice visuals and look
  • Good base mechanics
  • Nice retro-synth themed OST
  • Wide range of weapons and superpowers

Weak sides:

  • When game advances, hand tracking goes worse, recognizing bad advanced gestures
  • Game mechanics is innovative, but very monotone
  • Story line is a bit passive and quite boring
  • Good (but not perfect) voice acting

Summary and conclusion:

First impression from the game is promising, but when game advances you could barely use new gestures due bad hand tracking recognition (especially if you use shield etc). You can improve this by playing using controllers, but you will lose game's authentic mechanics. We hope developers will work on update to improve it.
