Out of Scale

An educational interactive VR game for children, dedicated to the topic of scale using the example of studying various mechanisms of existence and interaction of the world around us

Strong sides:

  • Really nice look and feel
  • High quality graphics and environments
  • Really good and clean interactions/tools
  • Original loading screen and scene transitions
  • Very impressive scale mechanics

Weak sides:

  • In some cases too much and a little bit boring narration
  • Lack of assistance/tips (critical as game is oriented on children)
  • Missing possibility to skip specific parts
  • Not much languages supported

Summary and conclusion:

A nice educational game, that opens a new VR format for Kurzgesagt for their educational content. The game is designed very well, but in some details might be a bit boring for a small children. We found it a bit complicated to pass for a child, without a hints and guidelines.
